Michael has extensive experience in financial services as an Advisor, Wholesaler and Program Manager. Having this background has enabled him to understand the needs of a broad range of investment professionals. He started his career as an Advisor for American Express. Here he enjoyed learning the business and building client relationships. Michael then joined Sun Life Financial as a Wholesaler. His team was responsible for over $500 million in variable, fixed, and index annuity sales.
While at Sun Life Michael had the opportunity to step away from the wholesale side of the business and manage a bank investment program. During this time he was able to deepen his understanding of multiple product lines and gain critical knowledge of product distribution.
Upon the sale of his division he joined the wholesaling team at New York Life. During his tenure he eclipsed $250 million in sales each year as well as increased active producers by over 40%. Michael received New York Life’s Pinnacle Award for outstanding sales achievement.
